This summer has been really great and I really have had a good time, also with poker.
I deposited 50$ at pokerchamps and have built my bankroll to 400$
I started of with a 1250$ guranteed mtt with about 40+ players and won 325$ and then I placed 3rd and won 200$ in a 1500$ guranteed.
At a point I had 600$, really mutch and I almost blew it.
My senses told me to take a break but I ignored this and blew 500$ in a single night on cash game at 0,50/1 and 1/2 levels.
I managed to transfer 100$ to my neteller account before I tilted my last bucks away.
Then I started again after attending the faroese music festival, visit the website at
www.gfestival.com
Pokerchamps decided to deny access to american player and the site totaly froze for more than 8 hours and then the site removed their tournements and sngs and forced me to play some cash game and I won 80$ and was up at 287$.
I choose to cash 200$ and made a 100$ deposit at poker.com.
I really think that this proves my point, that my game has improved, because I finished 4th in a 2000 guaranteed and made 200$.
Now I have aproximately 200$ at neteller, 200 at poker.com and 130$ at pokerchamps a total of 530$
The areas that Im improved in are:
Confidence
Reads
Patience
Bluffing
Confidence:
Dont know why, maybe because I worked all summer and Im not as broke as usual, so Im prepared to loose some hands and this really opened my game.
Reads:
Read many articles and some books and been watching poker on tv and such and my ability to read preflop raises and other moves.
Patience:
When to make a move and not to really is the key if you are to be a winning player.
I usually fold all hands exept premium hands and any pocket pair.
Pocket pairs really are good, especially early on in tournaments, trips are great and incredible hard to read and usually doubles your chip stack.
Bluffing:
Learned a new technique which works really
well.
Its to cold call a player preflop and flop and then making a raise or re-raise on turn, this works best if your table image is TAG (tight aggressive)
